There are no dull moments in this story. I was enthralled from the first page, and certainly not left wanting by the end. The story is written in first person, so it is very easy to place yourself in Jessie's shoes (albeit the high-heeled stripper kind). I look forward to more stories by the author, if this stimulating book is any indication of the rest of his work.
